OWLETT-JATON PRODUCTS STOCKED: Unifix, Vortex, Timberdrive and JCP Fixings

Owlett-Jaton partnered with a merchant to review how our product ranges, service offering, and merchandising solutions could best support their business. Following in-depth discussions, we worked together to design a solution tailored specifically to their customer base and branch requirements.

The outcome was a full merchandising rollout across six branches, replacing an existing supplier on a 1:1 basis. The installation included 5–10 metre merchandising bays, 1.4 metre high stands, and a studding FSDU, delivering a strong and consistent in-store presence.

Working closely with the customer’s team, we carefully selected a product range to best meet customer demand. This included a comprehensive selection of fasteners and fixings from Unifix, Vortex, Timberdrive, and JCP Fixings. To ensure clarity and ease of navigation in store, a detailed planogram was created and shared, showing exactly how each product would be positioned on the shelving.

Our merchandising team coordinated installation around the customer’s schedule to minimise disruption. Each branch was visited the day after stock delivery to ensure a smooth and efficient changeover. Existing stands were cleared, the area fully cleaned, and new Owlett-Jaton stock and point-of-sale material installed precisely in line with the agreed planogram.

Once installation was complete, a walk-through with the branch team ensured full satisfaction and allowed any questions to be addressed. A follow-up visit the following week confirmed everything was performing as expected.

The feedback was extremely positive, with both staff and end-users commenting that the range is easy to navigate, well presented, and significantly brighter, helping customers find the right products quickly and confidently.

As with all Owlett-Jaton merchandising projects, our dedicated merchandising team carries out monthly in-branch visits to maintain stock levels, place top-up orders, and ensure high standards of housekeeping. We continue to closely monitor performance, sales, and stock selection, making ongoing refinements to ensure each branch consistently carries the right range for its customers.
