We are pleased to announce that our external sales team has expanded with the addition of two new Area Sales Managers, Grey Kirby and Kelly Jones.

Greg Kirby has ten years of experience working in the fasteners and fixings industry. He worked for Harrison and Clough Ltd as a Sales Account Manager for six years, and the last four years as an External Business Manager.

The 2023 edition is out now, consisting of 132 pages of premium quality rivets, rivet nuts and setting tools. This year the JRP range has some exciting new additions to the range including:

Large Flange Head RAL 9005 Black Open Blind Rivets available in sizes from 3.2 to 4.8mm, and a new retail bag range comprising the most popular rivet lines in smaller bagged quantities. The new range is ideal for in-store merchandising and small usage requirements.

We are excited to announce the launch of our JRP Retail range. Comprising the most popular rivet lines in smaller bagged quantities, the new range is ideal for in-store merchandising and small usage requirements. 

The range includes seven types of open blind rivets, including dome head, dome head multigrip, large flange head and dome head JRP-lock structural rivets in a choice of materials, including aluminium, steel and stainless steel. In addition, the recently launched large flange head open blind rivets in RAL 9005 Black are also available in the retail range.

Merchants see nominal growth (+1.4%) in November, with falling volumes (-13.6%) and climbing prices (+17.3%)

The latest Builders Merchant Building Index (BMBI) report reveals that builders’ merchants’ value sales were up +1.4% in November 2022 compared to the same month in 2021. This was inflation-led growth as volume sales tumbled -13.6% while prices climbed +17.3%.

October Merchant sales climb +7.5%, but inflation’s still driving growth

The latest Builders Merchant Building Index (BMBI) report reveals that builders’ merchants’ value sales were up +7.5% in October 2022 compared to the same month in 2021. Volume sales dropped again (-5.6%) while prices climbed +13.9%, so price inflation was the driving factor of growth.
