Owlett-Jaton Expands Sales Team With a Trio of New Managerial Roles

We are pleased to announce the appointment of three new roles to our sales team.

Julian Jennings, currently Area Sales Manager, will be promoted to the new role of National Accounts Manager, effective from 1st January 2023. Julian will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the National Builders’ Merchants Accounts, managing product listings, pricing, promotions, merchandising requirements and orders.

These accounts are currently managed by Andy Connor, National Commercial Manager. Andy has decided that after over 33 years with the business that he plans to retire in Spring 2023.

Tony Williams, Sales Director comments “We would like to wish Andy a long, happy, and healthy retirement and thank him for his commitment and dedication to the business”.

The second appointment sees Neil Kitching, currently Area Sales Manager, promoted to the new role of Field Sales Manager effective from 1st January 2023. Neil will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Field Sales resource to ensure that all channels, including National Accounts are appropriately supported. This role will be a further increase to our Field Sales team and will allow Tony Williams to engage strategically with our National Accounts.

Finally, we are creating an additional new role of Merchant Channel Manager, a role which will be focused on engagement with buying groups across the builders’ merchant, electrical wholesale, and plumbing merchant channels. Matt Taylor brings a wealth of relevant experience in this area and will be joining us on 1st December 2022.
